The International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IMAC), under the Ministry of Law and Justice, in collaboration with the OIC Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC) Türkiye, organized a landmark conference at the COMSTECH Secretariat, Islamabad.
Chief Guest Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shahid Waheed announced the establishment of a dedicated Mediation Centre at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, emphasizing that robust ADR systems are essential partners to the judiciary in advancing economic objectives.
The event, held under the guidance of Federal Secretary Raja Naeem Akbar (HI) and attended by H.E. Dr. Umar A. Oseni, featured high-level panels with experts from SIFC, SECP, and the international legal community. Discussions focused on predictability in ADR outcomes and the vital role of mediation in ensuring long-term investment stability.
