A two-day foundation mediation training focused on ADR principles, practical negotiation skills, and interactive, case-based learning for legal professionals and public sector stakeholders
The training focused on enhancing practical mediation capacity by promoting mediation as a time-efficient, cost-effective, and reliable approach to dispute resolution, aligned with national efforts to reduce the burden on courts and improve access to justice.
Day 1 introduced participants to ADR in Pakistan, mediation processes, and the institutional framework, while Day 2 emphasized negotiation techniques, confidentiality in mediation, and structured, case-based simulations to support practical application of skills.
The programme highlighted the importance of mediation in strengthening trust, preserving professional relationships, and aligning traditional dispute resolution practices with modern, internationally recognized mediation standards.
Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and real-world simulations, the training enabled participants to build core mediation competencies and encouraged the adoption of dialogue-based dispute resolution across institutional and professional settings.
