Raja Naeem Akbar, Hilal e Imtiaz is serving as the Law and Justice Secretary. Before joining as Law and Justice Secretary on September 8, 2020, he remained posted as Senior Consultant (Contract) MP-1. He has supervised various wings including Drafting and Legislation Wing, Opinion Wing, Solicitor Wing and Development Wing. He has also headed the Contract and Treaty Section and the Administration of Federal Courts and Tribunals at the Ministry. He represented the Government of Pakistan in Kartarpur Corridor Project. He earned his LLM degree from University of Wolverhampton (2004), MA (Political Science) from University of Punjab (2000) and LLB from University of Punjab (1999).
