Ms. Aisha Rasool

Ms. Aisha Rasool is a legal expert, academician, and ADR specialist with extensive experience in corporate law, legal consultancy, research, and training. She holds an LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of York, UK, and pursuing Ph.D. in Corporate Law from the same institution. She is also a Certified Mediator accredited by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), UK. As the Senior Consultant (Research) at the Ministry of Law & Justice, Pakistan, Ms. Aisha is heading Legal Research and Opinion wing, which provides expert opinion to other Ministries, Divisions and Government Departments on legal issues. In her capacity as the Project Director of the International Mediation & Arbitration Centre (IMAC), she plays a pivotal role in advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms in Pakistan. Her previous roles include, Director (Research & Publication) and Director (Program and Co-ordination) at the Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad, Head of Law Department Green International University, Principal Law College Gomal University and Director (Research) at Khyber Pakhunkhwa Judicial Academy Peshawar. Ms. Aisha has led significant initiatives in legal education, judicial reforms, and ADR. She spearheaded the development of CAMS, launched by the Prime Minister, and designed the Federal Judicial Academy’s e-Campus, inaugurated by the Chief Justice of Pakistan. She also established the Academy’s first research journal and pioneered Pakistan’s first on-campus Legal Clinics and Mediation Centre. She is a published researcher with multiple papers in internationally recognized journals and has presented at judicial conferences, legal seminars, and international forums. Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she has received multiple awards for leadership, research, teaching, and community service. A firm advocate of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), legal innovation, and access to justice, Ms. Aisha Rasool continues to drive impactful initiatives that promote ADR practices in Pakistan and beyond.
