Ehsan Ullah Khan is an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator by ADR-ODR International (UK), recognized by the UK Civil Mediation Council (CMC), certified by the International Mediation Institute (IMI), and accredited by the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). As the first Registrar of the International Mediation & Arbitration Centre (IMAC), a project of the Federal Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of Pakistan, he is contributing to the development of institutional frameworks, and capacity-building programs to strengthen ADR in Pakistan. Previously, Mr. Khan served as Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, where he played a pivotal role in policy execution, legislative compliance, and intergovernmental coordination. He was actively involved in key national initiatives, including the Knowledge Economy and Kartarpur Corridor projects, ensuring effective policy implementation and stakeholder engagement. With extensive experience in taxation, public administration, and dispute resolution, he played a key role at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in tax audits, enforcement, IT system enhancements, and policy implementation. His work in ADR focuses on integrating mediation and arbitration into Pakistan’s legal framework, particularly in tax dispute resolution, streamlining processes to ensure timely and fair outcomes. Mr. Khan holds master's degrees in Political Studies and Economics, along with an LLB. His expertise in governance, law, and dispute resolution is further reflected in his published research in leading legal journals.
