Rauf Ahmad is a highly dedicated and seasoned professional with a strong foundation in finance and administration. He holds a Bachelor's degree from COMSATS University, a testament to his academic rigor and foundational knowledge in relevant disciplines. Throughout his career, Rauf has demonstrated a progressive trajectory, taking on increasingly responsible roles that highlight his versatility and commitment to organizational efficiency. His professional journey commenced as an Assistant Accounts Officer at CGN, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience in core financial operations. In this capacity, Rauf was instrumental in managing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, meticulously maintaining ledgers, and assisting with the preparation of crucial financial reports. He developed a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial records, performing bank reconciliations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. His role often involved supporting senior accounting professionals, processing invoices, managing expense requests, and ensuring compliance with established accounting principles and internal policies. In 2023, Rauf transitioned into government service, taking on the significant role of Admin and Accounts Officer in the Liaison and Monitoring Cell. This position broadened his expertise considerably, encompassing not only financial oversight but also critical administrative and liaison functions within a governmental framework. Here, Rauf was responsible for a wide array of duties, including budget management and forecasting, ensuring compliance with government financial regulations, and maintaining robust financial records for the cell. Beyond the financial aspects, he played a pivotal role in administrative functions, such as office management, procurement, and human resource support. His liaison responsibilities involved maintaining effective communication and coordination with various government ministries, agencies, and external partners, facilitating the smooth flow of official documents, and ensuring timely follow-ups on critical matters. He was often involved in streamlining administrative processes, managing official correspondence, and contributing to the efficient operation of the cell. With the recent establishment of the International Mediation and Arbitration Center (IMAC), Rauf Ahmad's capabilities were further recognized. He was honorably entrusted with the additional responsibilities of Assistant Registrar (Administration & Finance). This new role places him at the nexus of administrative and financial management within an international legal and dispute resolution environment. As Assistant Registrar, he is critical to the smooth functioning of IMAC's administrative and financial operations. His duties encompass overseeing the financial aspects of case management, administering the center's budget, and ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
