A comprehensive overview of arbitration's core concepts and procedures, designed to enhance foundational skills for effective dispute resolution.
A two-day training workshop on arbitration, organized by the Ministry of Law and Justice under its newly established International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IMAC), conducted at the Sindh Judicial Academy. Judicial officers, lawyers, and professionals from various sectors participated in the workshop. The trainers shared expert insights into best practices in arbitration.
Mr. Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro of the High Court of Sindh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the efforts of IMAC and the Ministry of Law & Justice in promoting alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
While addressing the backlog of cases, he emphasized the significance of ADR mechanisms in expediting dispute resolution and reducing the burden on courts. He suggested that arbitration laws should be amended to better align with the complexities of the modern world.
Following the directives of the Federal Minister for Law & Justice, Mr. Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Ministry of Law & Justice conducted a series of workshops and training sessions to raise awareness about ADR across Pakistan.
