The International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (IMAC), in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy, successfully conducted a one-day specialized training on arbitration for judicial officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The event, which aimed to enhance the capacity of judges in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, featured in-depth discussions on the significance of arbitration in expediting the resolution of commercial and civil disputes. Renowned experts from the field shared insights into best practices, legal frameworks, and international arbitration standards.
The concluding ceremony of the training was honored by the presence of Mr. Ikhtiar Khan, Registrar of the Peshawar High Court. He commended the Ministry of Law & Justice and IMAC for organizing the training, emphasizing that holding it at the KP Judicial Academy provided judicial officers with valuable learning opportunities right at their doorstep. He highlighted that the participants had been carefully selected from all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure broad representation and maximize the training's impact.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Aisha Rasool, Senior Consultant at the Ministry of Law & Justice, stated that the Ministry was committed to institutionalizing mediation and arbitration for a more efficient and accessible justice system.
